Now in its 16th year, the ASBU BroadcastPro ME Summit, held annually in November, has evolved as a regional landmark in the broadcast space – bringing together the sector’s foremost thinkers and market-makers. Held in partnership with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), every edition features a raft of highly topical panel discussions producing clear answers to today’s most urgent challenges.
The ASBU BroadcastPro ME Summit also ensures top-quality networking, enabling one-to-one dialogue and avidly encouraging thought-provoking discussion.
ASBU BroadcastPro ME Awards
Twinned annually with the ASBU BroadcastPro ME Summit, the ASBU BroadcastPro ME Awards have achieved canonical status as the foremost honours in the region’s broadcast space. For 16 years, the event has celebrated prowess in the MENA region’s broadcast, satellite, film and streaming sectors.
Prized for its objectivity, the Awards feature a carefully curated judging panel, with each year’s winners – who include technical specialists, innovators and market-makers – under the spotlight at a sumptuous gala dinner.
With the Saudi market undergoing exponential change, the BroadcastPro Summit KSA was launched in 2024 as a powerful advisory platform, delivering apex-level dialogue and expert guidance across the raft of touchstone trends.
Panelists represent every echelon of Saudi production and broadcasting, ensuring the Summit reflects the Kingdom’s burgeoning media sector investment and ongoing liberalisation: a climate wherein public and private broadcasters, satellite channels, and digital content have created a new paradigm far removed from traditional television and radio.
Now in its fourth year, the BroadcastPro ME Manufacturer Awards, held alongside CABSAT, celebrate businesses whose equipment and products best contribute to the performance of the region’s broadcast sector.
